Fastiff has been appointed to serve on the Board of Directors of Bay Area Legal Aid, the largest civil legal aid provider serving the seven Bay Area counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara. Last year alone it helped over 7,000 clients in the areas of housing, public benefits, medical debt, predatory lending, foster care services, domestic violence, and asylum and special immigration proceedings.

He also represents businesses in commercial disputes with their suppliers and competitors. His clients include governments, Native American tribes and their health providers, businesses, individuals, and consumer groups.
Notably, Eric served as co-lead counsel in the California Cipro litigation, a 17-year class action against Bayer, Barr Labs, and others over anticompetitive practices involving Bayer’s blockbuster antibiotic Ciprofloxacin, sold as Cipro. The litigation resulted in $399 million in settlements. He also represented businesses that purchased TFT-LCD panels and products in litigation charging that the world’s leading manufacturers conspired to fix prices, securing over $470 million in settlements, and led a $295 million settlement against De Beers for monopolization of the rough diamond trade.
Currently, Eric represents Native American tribes and health providers seeking damages from the Opioids and Juul epidemics.
